Looking forward to Champions, some of my favorite characters outside of Sam and young Cyclops, but I’m hoping this will be a great series.
Personally I’m hyped for the Champions book, it has been a while where there was a teens only team and also I guess I do want to see the dynamic of the group.
“Someone in the Amazing Spider-Man’s orbit dies.” Since the previous issue had the Prowler die and be resurrected on the very next page, it seems odd that Marvel is hyping up that someone dies in this issue so much. That kind of statement doesn’t mean much anymore, especially in this storyline.
Is “Totally Awesome Hulk” the character’s actual name? Is he called that by other people, or is that just the name of the series only (like Spider-Gwen)? Because “Totally Awesome Hulk” is a ridiculous name. I know nothing about the character but I could never take them seriously with that name. And I can’t imagine someone like Captain America being in a battle and saying “Hawkeye, you go that way! Totally Awesome Hulk, you go the other way!”
Lot’s a good stuff. I’m so far behind already. I haven’t read anything since the middle of last month. I hate that my local comic shop owner screwed me over, so now I’m left scrambling for alternatives. (I assume his business is struggling and he’s been closed on weekends, possibly working another job. Would have been nice for him to let his customers know) At the end of next month I’ll be placing an order online. I’m waiting that long because the shipping and handling charges do not make online ordering worthwhile unless you order enough books to where the charges negate any discount so you’re only paying about cover price. I pre-ordered Novembers books for a nice savings, but I think starting December I’ll have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to reach the closest comic shop. Thanks for letting me vent.
