Called it- the final parts of “Power Play” to be “Co-written” by Christos Gage. No surprise in that regard. I just thought Slott could at least make it past the halfway point.
But I guess since Gage is “co-writing” it, this means that MJ will likely do more in the narrative than just stand around and barely contribute to the plot.
In other words, Slott likely didn’t want to write MJ, and the suits said she needed to be in the story, so they got Gage to come in and pitch hit. And he always does when stuff like this happens.
The way Regent takes down the other Avengers actually works but Thor better give him a big fight.
Regent runs roughshot over the Avengers. Oh joy.
Still, Gage co-writing may give the book some much needed zest.
