I liked it. Always made Kraven seem way more intense. Like the “Too Much Coffee Man” Kraven.
Has anyone noticed how weird Romita always made Kraven’s eyes?
@5 – Nice one, Craig! 😎
Kraven folded faster than Superman on laundry day.
I mention some specific things about the Marvel Tales version of the story in this episode.Hope you enjoy it Tommy.
Yeah, this was literally the 3rd Spider-Man comic I owned (Marvel Tales version though) if I’m not counting the Smoking PSA thing.
@1 – *Kraven looks shocked, IMMEDIATELY falls over unconscious*
To be fair, in the preceding panel Spidey hit Kraven in the midsection so hard it probably cracked some ribs in addition to knocking the wind completely out of him. But… yeah Kraven folded like a lawn chair. 😎
I’ve read so many comics that I can’t be sure, but I seem to recall this as one of the very first Spider-Man comics I ever read…I am SO excited to listen to this episode!!! Thank you, GB and Brad!
I may be mis-remembering, but:
“By the way, I just ‘whumped’ you with a whump that took down the Hulk! (In ASM annual #3)”
