Bleeding Cool has an article up about a panel that had Spider-Man legends Mark Bagley and John Romita Jr on it and it got tense. The panel happened on Saturday in Houston. I was able to find the video on youtube. Around the 20 minute mark things get a little tense. There were a few wife jokes thrown around that I don’t think went too well. At one point Romita Jr calls Bagley a pain in the ass. I’ve interviewed both of these guys before and they were nothing but gracious. It’s painful to watch since I enjoy their work so much. They’re both in my top five of Spider-Man artists. Watch the video yourself and share your opinions.

I’m glad Steve Ditko took the high ground! 😉
Competitive jealousy makes men do foolish things.
They should make up.
Its sad to see my 2 fav Spider Artists at odds
You considered these jokes painful? You… Brad Douglas… KING OF THE BAD PUNS?
You’re right of course, but still….
I watched the whole hour and I think it was a matter of the two trying to be playful and it not going over well with each other. Everyone has an off day. Also what happens at the end of the panel? Does Romita JR pour water on the chair?
