Drake Bell, the voice of Spider-Man in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon has had a bad couple of months. In November he was at a birthday party and dove into the his brothers pool. According to TMZ he hit the bottom of the pool and broke his wrist. He had surgery and the site is reporting that he won’t be able to play his guitar again.
Then in December tragedy hit again. His online feud with Justin Bieber hit a new level. Fans of the Bieb allegedly hacked Bell’s Twitter and Instagram account. This after Bell posted his Christmas wish was for “the eradication of all Beliebers even on Christmas they are sending me death threats and hate!! It’s freakin Christmas!” And you thought Peter Parker had bad luck.

The Parker luck hit Bell.
And while I’m not a fan of Bell’s music, I’ll take his over Justin Bieber any day.
Oh man…poor Darke Bell. My gripes with his Spidey aside, and he has had a few standout moments, I’ve always liked him as a person and it’s terrible to see such misfortune befall him. I can only hope that with intensive physical therapy he might possibly be able to play the guitar again, and that Bieber’s fans stop harassing him.
Poor guy. I’m sure he can continue singing but he loved playing the guitar.
Yikes! He is really having it bad. I mean bankruptcy, Ultimate Spider-Man cancelled, now this. He plays a great guitar too. The hack was really something he didn’t deserve. All my best to him.
