yeah, like I said it was the most painful sale. Everything else I sold those weeks ranged from over $180 to $500. I just tell myself I had to do what needed to be done.

  2. $80.00??? Wow! That’s less than 40 cents a book, and most of them have a $2.99 cover price! I feel your pain…..

  3. There are a few things I would enjoy from the Ultimate Universe merging with the main MU. Too bad it can’t be the Ultimate Universe J. Jonah Jameson. How the character should be now. Not, this caricature of what he is now and being part of Silk’s book now. I’m with George though, Cataclysm was a waste now. That was a perfect way to end things and have Miles and Bombshell cross over to the 616 and now we know they will be part of Battleworld. What really makes me mad is that I sold my entire, MY ENTIRE Ultimate SPider-Man collection to help pay off debt due to my wife losing her job in May and I only got $80 for every issue including signed by Bagely and now its over with this. That would have just been 6 more months and while the debt was paid off. The $80 I got for the entire set really didn’t make a difference either way. So, I hate I lost out on Miles and Peter with this. Ergh!

  4. @10 – Yeah I know. Still though I’d be cool if the rebooted Jonah had the same character as the Ultimate one.

  5. Personally will be sad to see it go. Going by how bad I felt amazing was going the last few years I read all of the ultimate spider-man run and it became my fav take on the character. The characters progressed, spoke and acted like real people. Will be sad to loose ultimate gwen, aunt may and Jameson not to mention peter Parker. Was kinda hoping they would just run two ultimate spider-man titles one with peter and another with miles . but that’s not going to happen lol.

  7. Should have ended when Magneto went full-on super villian and destroyed new york. That was Ultimate at it’s best. After that it’s been down hill mostly because they had killed most the characters people liked by then.

  8. @George – I quite like the Black Widow character but I can’t see a place for her in 616 (or will it be 155 now?). Other than that? I got nothing.

  9. Pro: The Ultimate Universe is ending – proving Cataclysm was a colossal missed opportunity to have Galactus take out the garbage “like a boss.”

Cons: Marvel is merging 616 with the “best parts” (their words) of the Ultimate universe. Which means Miles and… what, exactly? What else is there to incorporate from this failed continuity?
