I can’t go back to 8 bit. I ust can’t.
I’d love a new 8-bit or 16-bit Spider-Man game.
Long as we don’t regress back to 8 Bit, I’m not complaining.
You’re right, Gerard…graphically, the first game looked much better than this one does. I would say that this was probably just a teaser trailer, and that the game wasn’t fully developed yet…but then why release it at all?
Also, the gameplay in this looks disappointingly similar to the first one. In fact, if you look at the ninja-looking woman at the end (2:50), it looks almost identical to the Black Cat boss battle from ASM, right down to the stage layout.

Based on what I’ve seen here, this game will be a rental for me. I’m not impressed.
Yeah it looks very, very similar to ASM 1 which I liked. However Shattered Dimensions is my favorite Spidey game. I also wish they would of shown off the PS4 and XB1 version.
Two immediate reactions:
(1) Maybe I’m getting spoiled by the PS4, but I’m surprised by how badly this game has regressed visually from the first Amazing Spider-Man.
(2) Why are they hiding the PS4/X1 version? They have yet to show even a pixel from those platforms. That’s alarming, especially since it’s usually the othr way around with these hybrid releases.
