The new Superbowl Ad has a very short clip of Peter crying in it. Could this be a scene from the death of Gwen Stacy? An earlier trailer opens with him catching Gwen on a web, but what if it snaps? Feel free to discuss in the comment section.

that is not true it is because i could not save her in time be fore it was to late
He’s crying because it’s in the script!
He is crying because that damn Zuckerberg took all his money. Oops…wrong movie.
Aww what’s wrong with Jamie foxx?
If you had to spend that much time working with Jamie Foxx, you’d be crying, too.
He’s crying because he’s in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Or because he stubbed his toe
Clearly he’s crying due to a painful muscle cramp.
He’s a Broncos fan and he bet all of his money on them to win.
Peter just learned that harry sandman and venom are gonna be ams 3 badies. He is practicing for the emo dance scene.
#8…Sorry no MJ i meant Gwen
Thing is…the trailer shown at the SB has a non correlative image sequence…SM grabbing MJ with his web seems to happen before the fall…Would Gwen look so relaxed after falling and almost breaking her head?….
“Why’s Peter crying?”
CAUSE HE JUST GOT DUNKED ON!
(sorry – couldn’t resist)
The could be any number of reasons why he looks emo in that still. The previous film had him getting emo quite a bit.
I could see Peter crying over both Gwen and Harry dying.
Maybe it’s Harry who’s dead….and Gwen accually dies in ASM3 by Norman’s hand.On a f#cking bridge,for God’s sake.
Gwen is soooooo dead
Heis crying because he bet on the Broncos! Go Seahawks!
HOLY SH!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much fangasm!!!! In my mind we have two possibilities…
1. Marc Webb wanted us to think Gwen was going to die and with this trailer we see that she won’t and that’s it!!
2. Marc Webb wanted us to think Gwen was going to die and with this trailer we see that she won’t BUT she actually dies in the movie and we’ve been tricked.
I believe one of the two is the truth!! 😛
