BleedingCool.com is reporting that the first issue of the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man: Who Am I? digital comic will be available to retailers, in print, for free – depending on how many issues of Superior Spider-Man #26 they ordered.
Will that happen this time? Depends how much of a digital comic recruitment tool it is.
Spider-Man wakes up with no idea of who he is — but he’s robbing a bank! To help build excitement for the return of Peter Parker, Marvel is pleased to announce that The Amazing Spider-Man: Who Am I? #1, a promotional comic starring the original web-slinger, is now available to order for free. Taking place within the current continuity of Dan Slott’s Spider-Man run, no retailer can afford to miss this exciting opportunity to introduce readers into the world of the Amazing Spider-Man!
Available orders per store are twice as many copies as the retailer ordered of Superior Spider-Man #26…. that’s if they want them.
Amazing Spider-Man: Who Am I? is written by Joshua Hale Fialkov with art by Juan Bobillo.
–George Berryman!
There’s always a catch.
@#3
He did art for Slott’s She-Hulk book.
I’m excited for Fialkov but probably more so for Bobillo, his stuff with Hickman for Future Foundation was beautiful and he draws a very expressive Spider-Man. Can’t wait until this out
No worries. I’ve never heard of Jaun Bobillo 🙂
Thanks Adam. Wasn’t familiar with Fialkov at all.
Quick amendment: Joshua Hale Failkov is the writer. The artist is Jaun Bobillo.
I’m really looking forward to this JHF wrote an Alpha mini series that was really good. He got me to care for Alpha, so this should be easy for him.
I’ll be getting it digitally.
