With three lovely ladies to choose from, Spidey picks Aunt May. This picture sums up One More Day perfectly.
@1: Not at all. It makes complete sense character wise actually. Spidey is giving Aunt May a helping hand being the dutiful nephew he is. Gwen is showing her distaste for Spidey as she always did in the Silver Age. MJ loves the chivalry on display by Spidey as he helps Aunt May, her aunt’s neighbor who she’s pretty fond of and likewise. And Black Cat is just pissed that Spider-Man is giving somebody else the time of the day over her! 🙂
