Screen Rant.com is reporting that the composer for the score to Amazing Spider-Man James Horner is getting sacked in favor of not only Hans Zimmer (he of the Lion King, Nolan Batman Trilogy and Man of Steel fame as well as many other films), but also producer and rapper Pharrell (he of such hits as Snoop Dogg’s “Drop it like it’s Hot”, Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” fame.).
Pharrell is no stranger to helping with scores for movies. He previously worked on Despicable Me 2, for which he won an Annie Award. Any thoughts on the news, comment below!
Screw this, Hans Zimmer is beyond overrated. Always loved Horner *sigh*

Because these are the songs I think of when I think of a Spider-Man movie.
One of them is a composer I am long familiar with. The other is apparently a GAP model?
@1- Not only that, it means when the podcast reviews the movie Brad will ask J.R. “what did you think about Spidey twerking?”
Hans Zimmer is amazing, his scores have been phenomenal. He would have been my first pick. So I am pretty happy about this 🙂
Does this mean that Spidey will be dancing with Miley on the big screen….with a foam webshooter?
