@#7: They might go both routes. The current Coulson we see is a LMD, but maybe the real Coulson is in a hospital bed in a coma or something.
I had the same thought about Coulson being a LMD who thinks he’s human, and I think it’s pretty obvious that’s where they’re going with this. Though, I have to say, if you watch Avengers with the idea in mind that Coulson’s death was staged in order to motivate the Avengers, it makes a lot of sense, so I’d be okay with that route, too.
Our abc affiliate in Philly is replaying it Thursday at 8.
I thought the premiere was fun, if a little cheesy at points. I’ll keep watching.
@#2 You know ABC might make the episode available on their official website.
I heard the “Journey Into Mystery” line, and laughed…No one else got it, so I had to explain it.
I had the same reaction to Coulson being alive (sorta?)…All I could think of was LMD.
Ironically, if you stuck around after SHIELD, the very next show was set in the 80’s…and featured the Back to the Future DeLorean flying away! 😀
I was stuck grocery shopping with the misses. Missed it all and I won’t be able to stream it for probably a month.
Loved the great power line. Good idea with the live blog!
