If you were a comic book reader in the 1970s and ’80s then I’m sure you’ve seen the Spider-Man Hostess ads. They were a one page story that worked in Spidey using the tasty cakes to solve a crime. Well times have been tough for the manufacturer and Hostess has filed for Bankruptcy protection. I guess the Twinkies aren’t selling so well anymore. I think it’s time Spidey helped them out again. Check out this site for an awesome collection of the old ads.
