This isn’t Spider-Man related but I wanted to bring it to your attention because this could happen to any of us.
Mike Meyer is a big Superman fan that lives in the St. Louis area. He was recently robbed and is needing your help in getting his stuff back.
Please read this article and if you live in the area and see a man by the name of Gary selling rare super items please contact the authorities.

Having just spent the last 3 days at the Raptus comic convension, this actually makes me feel more angry than sad, which is the right feeling about about this. We should probably monitor e-bay and amazon for newSuper-man comic posts.
Ths angers me, not only as a comic fan, but as a human being.
How could you do that to someone who has such a great, enduring love for the character, and better yet, NEVER DID ANYTHING TO YOU?
I hope Mr. Meyer regains his possessions soon, he’s in my prayers.
Feel for the guy – the world is full of scum.
That Gary and his girlfriend are destined to be caught. If not for this crime than for something else.
How rotten can one be? Not to say careless and stupid. Hope they found their fingerprints somewhere.
Well, my faith in the human race takes a hit. Thanks for pissing in my corn flakes, a-hole.
I know times are tough, but doing this to another person who did nothing to deserve it is never right!!!
Brad, please let us know if they catch this person. I’ll feel a lot better knowing he received his stuff back.
What an a-hole! The sad part is that he prolly never will be catch, and the comics are probably already sold on ebay or such. Poor Mike. Best of luck to you man.
Ugh, what an jerk, the guy who stole his collection. How can people live with themselves like that? I really hope this guy is brought to justice and our Super Fan can get all his belongings back.
We should send Frank Castle after the thief. I feel for the guy. He was a superfan.
Comicbook fans unite, good post man.
hope the guy gets his stuff back.
What a disgusting, d-bag thing to do..with any luck this vile lowlife will get caught sooner than later. 🙁 Best wishes for a positive outcome to Mike….
Ah man, that’s a heartbreaker…
I sure can say I feel for Meyers after reading that article, thank for sharing this on your site Brad it shows how comic fans can know when they need to watch whom they share that kinda personal stuff with! I do hope that Gary is one day serving jail time for his actions, yet I can still see from this as well why we believe so much it in wanting to be everyday type of heroes anyway.
