Our “friends” over at CBR decided to take a dig at the Crawlspace by saying, “Yeah, they’re one of the worst things to happen to Spider-Man fandom. You get the reputation you deserve.”
I appreciate the poster LudaChris coming to our defense. What are your thoughts?

This is the only comic related webiste i visit in the past year or so, so needless to say I love it. The BND pro/con posts were getting a bit old for awhile so I stayed away but now it’s fine again. I think it’s great that everyone here is on a level playing field whether you are editor in chief or occasional poster in the forums. Thanks for keeping it that way!
Enh. The limp CBR mods have permitted Marvel execs to run rampant, so that no critical person is really over there at the Spider-man forum anymore but Stillanerd. CBR is like the White House press secretary (either party) — point out that the mission still isn’t accomplished, and you’re called pro-terrorist; point out that the stimulus failed, and there still aren’t enough jobs, they start ranting about the Tea Party. That’s CBR.

I’m not using anybody… remember, I said “F*** ’em” meaning, I don’t care.
Now let’s play our favorite game, “Proof or you’re full of it!”
Find the mudslinging in the following statement for $20!
“how is it that people over there can’t stop talking about this site? No one over here is badmouthing that one 24/7… even though there are those over there that might deserve it”
hate and anger? Many of these posts defend crawlspace by HATING on CBR. Its unnecessary and by crawlspace acknowledging this silly forum post, it shows that the site will post anything that gets under its skin. Also, this post is causing people to ague about whether or not this should be posted.
@54
Very much like youre using one random guy to represent the opinion of CBR as a whole so you can fling mud at them.
Pot, meet kettle
@#52
You got a problem with my opinion of the whole thing, whatever. That’s MY way of saying he’s not worth bothering with.
And hey, Gerard… they’re using US to speak for the site… AGAIN.
I’m glad to see so many people are against Crawlspace posting useless stuff like this. If this really was a reputable site it wouldn’t have to defend itself against opinion posts made by some guy in another forum. Clearly you’re not there yet, but I know I’m waiting for the day.
I don’t understand this sudden knee-jerk reaction. This wasn’t “friends” at CBR. This wasn’t a mod, or an admin, or even anyone with any authority. It was just some guy. ONE random user posted a bad remark about Crawlspace OVER A MONTH AGO, and then the comment section swings out with a bunch of petty complaints towards CBR.
“A great man once said something brilliant, and I shall repeat it here…
F*** ‘em.”
“how is it that people over there can’t stop talking about this site? No one over here is badmouthing that one 24/7… even though there are those over there that might deserve it”
“I don’t see where they have the right to give criticism while they’re the pretentious and irrational comic fans. Seriously, CBR has become the 4chan of comic message boards; Crazy, random, and disturbing.”
“But seriously though, I’m glad one of them managed to disconnect his lips from Steve Wacker’s ass long enough to actually say something intelligible.”
Hey, way to stand up and be the bigger man to CBR, guys! No wait, not CBR, just the opinion of one guy from a month ago(who, let me tell you as a guy who posts there often, says stupid stuff all the time).
@ BD: You have the right to run your site however you want to. I’m just asking if sure a matter was worth posting about.
As I said if this was Slott or Wacker, or even an entire topic dedicated to hating the Crawlspace, it would be a different matter. But its not, one guy said he doesn’t like the site, and immediately afterwards someone defends the site, and it’s never mentioned again in the thread. One unimportant person expressing his opinion shouldn’t merit this much attention, doesn’t matter where he’s posting from.
I must also point out that people on this site have said similar things about CBR and that’s fine and no one cared, but when someone over at CBR does it to the Crawlspace it’s suddenly not OK.
