Thanks to Iron Patriot on our message board for this find.
A couple recently got married and their wedding cake topper recreated the OMIT cover from Amazing Spider-Man # 639. The bleeding knife wasn’t added. The cover artist Pablo Rivera post this item on his page.
….ummmm….hmmmm….just gonna not say anything – I think that’s best.
Is the bashing really necessary, guys? I think it’s really cool that they did this. I hope they have a happy and loving marriage.
No wonder MJ was scared of the black costume. . .!!
I wonder, Abdul… do you ever step in and chastise JR whenever he makes a joke like that?
… I didn’t think so.
Let’s see. We want to pay homage to a superhero marriage. How about Spider-man’s marriage. No, not the original annual, the One Moment In Time rehash of the worst comic book ever.
AGH!
That’s nice
Enigma, be a little more positive about their happy life
I can’t sit here and poke fun at them aon what’s possibly the last happy day of their life.
Now, the choice of books to homage with their wedding, on the other hand…
When I got married, my mother-in-law surprised me with a Marvel-themed Groom’s Cake. Spider-Man was on top, as he should be:

Hope they stay away from flying devil bricks.
That’s pretty cool, I love that cover….the content inside, not so much.
@AmFan15
Admittedly, the black Spider tuxedo is more tasteful than a full-on red-and-blue costume.
@ Donovan
You mean like this one?

Appreciate the effort, just wish they had a better comic to recreate!
This has got to be bad luck heading into their marriage…
..And they can apparently recreate the moment in OMIT where Peter was squashed by a fat person too
lol He looks like a Mexican wrestler.
