Marvel has unveiled their upcoming Spider-Man Mighty Mugg figure, complete with removable cloth mask, available only at San Diego Comic-Con. More pics after the break!
Mighty Muggs (made from 100% recycled awesome) are a line of media tie-in toys that are short and stout with over-sized heads. Made more for cuteness of display than for action figure play, they have become a favorite among toy collectors who love Star Wars, G.I. Joe, and other franchises, including, of course, the superheroes of Marvel comics.
Today, on their Facebook page, Marvel has released images of this new Spider-Man Mighty Mugg, which will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con. Unlike most other Mighty Mugg toys, this one features a cloth mask to fit over the head, which reveals Peter Parker’s face when removed.
Ugh. I wish I never bought the original version Spidey from this line. This ones’ way better. But I can’t see owning two of these.
@#3
Because for a while now, Hasbro has price gouged us withe Marvel Universe figures, feeding us excuse after excuse for not doing decent, 6 inch figures… and things like THIS remind me of what they DO like to waste their money on… the money they said they couldn’t put into decent Marvel Legends figures.
And don’t even get me started with the Spider-man line…
That. Is. So. Freaking. CUTE!
I saw this and immediately thought of you, BD! 😀
I looove Muggs. I hope the Hasboro Toy shop has these for sale after the con. This one is awesome!
@Enigma – WHAT? WHY?
I have a spidey muggs figure thing, but his mask is painted on
I… HATE… THESE… THINGS…
