“Spider-Man: House of M” had it’s problems, but this scene from the mini-series always made me smile. The alternate reality Uncle Ben, Aunt May and Stacys discover Peter’s diary which records his adventures in the 616 timeline.

Spider-Man defeats the Hulk in “Amazing Spider-Man” issue 328. At the time he had Captain Universe powers and punched the Hulk straight to the sun. I love the Beatles reference.

I’m gonna make sure I get this from Barnes & Nobles near me when I get back from Cuenca Ecuador visiting my folks who live there for the next two weeks.
WOW.
What was it? The Green Gobling gave J Jonah Jameson the diary to ruin Peter Parker to reveal that he got his powers from a radioactive Spider and he wasn’t born that way, thus ruining his life.
It was a good series. Even though it didn’t match the story in the House of M main series.
I always thought they should change the Spider-man books there, perhaps. They wanted him unmarried. There’s your chance. Love Aunt May’s death in 400.
Then you find out at the end of the story that the Green Goblin was actually……
🙂
nice work Bertone
Why are the reading Peter’s diary?
I didn’t even know (but shouldn’t be surprised) there was a House of M tie-in for Spider-man. I should look it up.
I so dont’ remember this scene but it’s awesome! I remember liking this mini series when it came out. I think Waid wrote it.
