The Movie Blog.com released additional images of the upcoming Spider-Man flick starring Andrew Garfield. These pictures seem to have Spidey in some sort of action sequence in the streets of New York.
In some of these shots, the scenes resemble the 1978 Spider-Man show. If you ask me it’s not a bad thing, however popular opinion is sure to prove otherwise. thoughts?
While I know a lot of you hate the new suit (while I like it) but you’ve got to admit that it’s awesome that some of the stunts are being done by a real person instead of all CGI, because I flipped when I saw the spy footage of Spidey flipping into the back of the pickup truck (t’was awesome.)
Anyone else think that costume look a bit like Nightcrawler’s original black and red?
@Two-Bit Specialist
You’re welcome,pal! 😀
@iron patriot – You know, sometimes I forget the first Spider-man film came out a decade ago. The children in those days are now teenagers.
And I now feel old. Thanks a lot! 😉
That stuntman(or Andrew Garfield,I’m not sure if he does his own stunts) is the luckiest guy in the world! He can web swing while I spent a lot of time and money on that webshooter they made after the movie.(I was SEVEN,okay?)
“You’re not Penske material!”
I kinda wish they’d STOP releasing pics and wait until they are far ahead enough to release a trailer. Sony is just building bad word of mouth at this mouth.
Good for those Penske rental truck guys getting some publicity
Practical stunts were a big part of why I love the Japanese Spider-Man TV series, so this is good news to me.
I’m gonna agree with the article write at the blog. I like the idea of seeing a real person doing the stunts instead of CG. That was one of my biggest gripes with the original trilogy was the overuse of CG. It is refreshing to see this…. too bad that costume sucks.
