  1. She’ll make a fine Betty. Her and Emma Stone are good casting choices. I wonder who will play MJ if she shows up in this flick. I’m impressed with everyone they picked except for their choice for Peter Parker. Still maybe they saw something I didn’t so I’ll reserve judgement for now.

  2. “I just hope a Betty/Gwen/Peter love triangle dosent develop. It would be a waste of time and we know who Peter would pick”

That makes no sense, we know Spider-Man is going to defeat the villian. We watch because of the drama

  3. Zoey is great, I just hope a Betty/Gwen/Peter love triangle dosent develop. It would be a waste of time and we know who Peter would pick

  4. Fan of Zooey so great news if true. The quality of the casting so far is great. Martin Sheen obviosly has the gravitas, Andrew was a revelation for me in The Social Network and will probably get an oscar nomination for it, and Im still stoked about Rhys being cast, one of my favorites and the greatest scene stealer in films today. People how arent familiar with his work will find out soon enough.

  5. Cool, she’s got good screen presence and will bring a lot to the role. Her sister Emily was the receptionist Peter delivered pizza to in the beginning of Spider-Man 2 (where he was late!).

  6. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!! ZOOEY IS SUPER AMAZING!!!!! I bet this is for sure since the director put her in his first movie “500 days of summer” Man I LOVE THIS CASTING!!!

  7. She’s got a good look for the part (with shorter hair of course) and Marc Webb directed her in 500 Days, so that’s a plus too. On the other hand, Betty is pretty grounded and responsible and Zooey tends to come off as very quirky.
