“Seduction of the Innocent” was written and the Comics Code was established during the McCarthy era, but I highly doubt he of no decency had anything to do with it.
I imagine everyone listening to your podcast has already seen all or at least most of the episodes of spec-spidey.
Are you serious Thomas? Comics had nothing to do with McCarthyism. McCarthysim was a response to the Red Scare in the 1950s. And it turned out that a lot of the organizations accused of having Communist infaltraters did. The Comics Code Authority had nothing to do with the fight against Communism. Wow, just wow.
