Rich Johnson is reporting that Spider-Girl could soon be getting her own book again. No other details were given. However, Steve Wacker confirmed that Kurt Busiek and Pat Oliffe are teaming up on a Spider-book. The two had a great run on the 1990’s “Untold Tales of Spider-Man.”

Evidently this is the suit Director Sam Raimi rejected for the first Spider-Man movie. Do you like it better or did they go with the right one?

Perhaps Spider-Girl becomming monthly again is a benefit of the Disney merger (if this rumor is true anyway). Maybe now they can afford to keep fan favorite books that don’t sell very well around for a while. I hope they do this with more fan favorite titles like Captain Britain MI 13.
i just love Untold Tales. this is the best spidey-related news i have heard in a long long time
If that means I could stop buying WEB, which has been below average at best besides having Spider-Girl in it, I’m all for it!
YEY! WE ARE BACK; BABY! WE ARE BACK!… who are we? i dont know.
Untold ROCKS!!!
Does this mean that the Spider-Man digital comic is dead? Olliffe was drawing that, and it’s pretty early to change artists …
And I’m happy about Spider-Girl. There’s been a lot of snide remarks on other message boards about the fanbase, but it’s a testament to the character that she won’t stay down. 🙂
Untold Tales rules
Spider-Girl Monthly by the Team that made UToSM
That’s the last I heard
These two books being back would kick ass! Some of my favorite books of all time!
Marvel seem to be finally doing a 180 and giving the fans what they want. TWith The Clone Saga mini-series coming to an end, we need a frequent pro-marraige, pro-evolution Spidey title. Hell, I hope Kurt’s book is actually a “Spider-Man Forever” with the marraige intact also, he’s written a great MJ in the past
I always said Spidey was better off in a diverse element, now the company are embracing that
Wish we could get a complete run of Untold in trade. More untold tales would be AMAZING
I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woo! Untold Tales coming back would be great, especially if it’s by the same team.
