From “Web Of Spider-Man#69”. Betty Brant finally becomes a reporter. She wouldn’t become a judo karate butt kicking reporter until much later, but here is when her character took those first steps. But none of you care because this is the arc where Spider-Man turns into Spider-Hulk. If you ask REAL nicely I’ll post that one tommorow!

This is from the classic “Spectacular Spider-Man” issue 250. Great story…too bad this scan has a massive continuity error. Crawlspace No-Prize for the first fella who spots it!

Thank’s Bertone, you saved me the effort to say it wasn’t made by Defalco, though I’m late
You got real catchy lines to convince ol’ Bert to post a Spider-Hulk picture
I love Betty, and Saviuk drew her most beautifully
Maybe Betty has Mephisto on speed-dial, in case she wanted to roll back any of these developments.
Betty Brant’s character development: The Alzheimiers of all Spider-Man writers
Please post those Spider-Hulk pictures. Or else SPIDER SMASH!!!
Please post Spider-Hulk tomorrow? With great pics comes great posting responsibility.
Gerry Conway wrote this one and Mackie made her the judo reporter. I don’t know if we can blame Defalco.
Betty Brant as an independent reporter and not a typical secretary? DEFALCO! 😛
Oh, Betty Brant and character development, like Peanut Butter and… something that one would think would go great with peanut butter but unfortunately does not as well as it appeared to have on paper. You know…
Do you see Jim Salicrup and possibly Alex Saviuk in that bottom? Or maybe it’s Tom DeFalco?
