Amazing Spider-Man issue 25. Let’s forget about the fact that if Liz and Betty shaved their heads we wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. First Mary Jane from the neck down. Too bad that flower is devouring her face.
This is from Peter Parker: Spider-Man (volume 2) issue 46. This was before “Sins Past”, so can we call this unintentional foreshadowing?
Due to recent events in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man, I now present you with a list of 101 Unpleasant Ways For Ben Reilly To Die. I wrote half this list on a napkin while […]
It seems Spidey missed all the Avengers/ Godzilla action. I bet Jameson was ticked Parker missed all these great shots. This appeared in Godzilla # 24. Many thanks to the TarsTarkas.net for the images. This […]
I love this story, it is by far one of my absolute favorite issues ever of any comic book series, the fierce rivalry between Liz & Betty is always good for a few laughs, especially since they’re on the crush for “Puny Parker”
How come such a great memory isn’t a hot subject like the “Disney/Marvel” merge?
I wonder how Steve would have drawn MJ had he not left the book. Then again why question what might have been, right? Romita designed a knockout that we’ve all come to know and love.
Remembering that whole “keep what MJ looks like a secret” thing, it looks like that’s (in a way) what they failed to do with Jackpot… anybody know what I mean? (haha, I hope so.)
This is the issue that set Spidey apart from the Archie contrasts. Betty wised up and went for Ned, and Liz…she sort of began to lose relevancy right up until she fell for Harry.
Oh original continuity, how I miss you.
I don’t think they were drawn exactly alike. Betty had a slightly more round face, and their noses are different.
You missed the funnier page which preceded it, which had them awkwardly walking up to the door and scowling at each other. THAT was some funny stuff. 🙂
