This is the first appearance of Allistar Smythe (son of Spencer Smythe). Here he looks more like "Comic Book Guy" than the slim robotic man he would become. This classic hilarious story is from "Amazing Spider-Man" annual 19. It’s currently reprinted in the Mary Jane trade paperback which you all need to buy!

  1. Before I read it I felt this to be a goofy ridiculous story not worth reading by just reading the review, after reading it I really enjoyed the story
My first introduction to this tubbed guy was in the 90s show, a slim guy with a handicap that he can’t walk, really shocked me to see him fat and walk
“May Reilly Parker” took back the thought of Spider-Man being a menace and it suddenly returned in “Web of Spider-Man #001”, and then said here, never was it shown how she got back from thinking him a good guy

  2. “I am Spider-Man?” Hmm… Model, actress, dresses in drag…girl you’re a jack of all trades, huh?
