  1. This, the following near murder of the Black Cat in the next issue by the Ock’s and Owl’s men, and the next few issues leading up to the final battle in issue #80 was one of the best arcs in Spidey history, far as I’m concerned. Ock was so angry and determined for revenge on losing his “arms” that Peter was actually seeking out loved ones to say his final goodbyes. When he finally defeated Ock again in issue #80, it triggered Otto’s fear of Spider-man that lasted years, even spilling into Fantastic Four as part of the plotline of Sue losing her baby. Thanks for sharing that image with us, and triggering good memories!
