I can’t think in any possible wat how “American Son” fits in Spidey-lore…like “New Ways To Die”, which could have been a masterpeice WITH the marraige and very little of The Thunderbolts except Gargan, it wants so badly to matter and utlmately doesnt do anything of note. Harry isnt Harry, Norman isnt Norman, Spidey even thinking like Jack Bauer the whole time is appauling…it wants to be something, but nothing fits. Deal with the devil or otherwise, Norman fits less and less into the Spidey World Order.

  2. Good stuff. Glad to see some other people like American Son. I think it’s the best story to come out of OMD so far. Sadly I can’t help but think of stories like this and how much better it could have have without the deal with the devil. Either way… keep up the good work.
