I hate to admit it but my introduction to Spider-Man didn’t come from Stan Lee or Steve Ditko. I first learned about Spider-Man while watching the Electric Company. And, again I hate to admit it, but the first Spider-Man comic I ever bought was an issue of Spidey Super Stories. I believe the main story focused on the Green Goblin robbing some toy stores. My friend, after reading it, asked me why the Green Goblin would even want to steal all those toys. I just told my friend it’s because the Green Goblin was a bad guy. Simple enough, right?
I so remember this one. Gotta love 70s Spidey.
