oh – maybe this is the problem with reprinting MTU #79, instead of Red Sonja ?
I wondered how Marvel got away with this, but I guess DC don’t have the copyright on bespectacled news anchors in suits! I really like it when both companies have little nods to each other like this, at least when they’re affectionate instead of mean-spirited as they can sometimes be.
Was this during the time when Clark worked as a TV anchor and was worried about so many people seeing Clark Kent’s face every night and maybe thinking “That guy looks like Superman”, so he used his power of “super-hypnosis” to make the viewers think he looked a little different?
