  1. @William – But as a “chameleon”, isn’t his whole m.o. to blend into the background, not be noticable? This new costume doesn’t do that at all.

  2. I can kind of get the reasoning behind this costume, something to make him stand out more and fit the chameleon theme better. Basically, make him more in-line with the colourful animal-themed villains who followed him. Unfortunately, it’s incredibly un-inspired and garish in a much less charming way than the designs by Ditko. I also think of Chameleon as more of a spy character than a supervillain, so I think the under-stated look fits a lot better.

  3. This costume is the Chameleon’s analog to the Sandman’s alternate “Frightful Four” costume. Not very liked, and everyone agrees that we should pretend they never happened.
