Do you know they're releasing God of War Collection on PS3 before the end of the year? It'll have the first two games in 720p HD, plus trophies. You might want to check that one out.

I did see that! I was also quite shocked by the price on Amazon.com! $37 for two games? That's really good! Haha, the thing with me is, however, that I don't really buy doubles of games, so I'm not sure how I would go about that. I suppose I could always trade in my PS2 God of Wars for some credit on the new ones coming out...hmmm

Ahhh, I forgot about that one! I'm just super scared that it's going to go down the same troubled path of Crash Bandicoot when Naughty Dog let it go to some other company. Haha, I still haven't beaten Jak II yet...ugh, that one gets me so frustrated! I feel like I should just skip it and get Jak III which is like, $10 now...Once again I site the fact that a bunch of games are all coming out at the same time...*sigh*

$37 is pretty good for such a solid collection! But I honestly doubt that you could get much (if any) trade-in value on PS2 games at this point unless they're rare collector's items.

The Lost Frontier will probably be a cheap cash-in to hold people over until a true Jak sequel on the PS3, but for a PSP game it might be worth it. Daxter is a lot of fun on PSP and I expect this one to be similar to that.

And don't skip Jak II! That and Jak 3 follow a tight, continuous story. It helps that they're both great games, too.

Then again, I'm biased. Jak II was the first PS2 game I ever played, and Jak 3 might be my favorite PS2 game of them all.

I'm getting the game for christmas but i read a review that said that ps2 owners were shafted...a gain (sigh)
