1. What was the last comic you read that you did NOT work on and what did you think about it?

2. How much time passed between the Obama project's inception and its completion?

Hey Todd, A couple of questions:

1) You got to draw Mysterio(s)' last venture out so do you know anything about the characters future?

2) Other than Stan Lee, which former Spidey cribe would you like to work with.

Hey Todd, great to have you on the podcast! Ur one of the modern greats out there in the biz.

My one question is that 95% of your Spider-Man work has been under the writing of both Todd DeZago and Peter David, both who you also worked with on one of my personal favorite books Young Justice. Were those happy coincidences or were you given chances to collaborate with your old friends?

Much appreciated, and looking forward to your Spider-Man family work!! Also like to wish you and your wife Dawn a happy 9th anniversary![smilie=spidey_thumbs.gif]

Hey Todd, Sam Kerby here (yeah, the guy who gave you such a hard time about drawing the white spider on the black costume spidey to look like a spider and not skinny like an ant) hehe, I just wanted to thank you for the change you did to that spider and let you know, its now one of my favorite issues, cause I feel like I had a bit of a change to the spidey comics.

So when are we to expect your run on the Amazing Spidey title?

Thanks for being there and as always...

Hey, Todd! Love your work!

1. How awesome did it feel to actually get to draw Obama and Spidey togeather?

2. Who, other than yourself, is your favorite comic book artist?

Thanks for answering questions! :D

Have you or Marvel received any response from Obama or any member of the governmental crew about the issue you drew with Obama and Spider-man?

Do you own an Obama commemorative plate?

Had McCain won the presidency do you think the Vulture/Biden joke would have been made at him?

Why is Chameleon in your issue and not still dead from his suicide in the 1999 series, Webspinners? I know you guys weren't the first to bring him back after that and villains come back from the dead but COME ON! It makes no sense after a three part story of why and how he dies!

Can you badger Marvel to create a story that fills in that gap in Chameleon's life? Appreciation in advance.

A few technical questions about being a comics artist:

(1) Do you prefer to work with full scripts, or in the "Marvel style" (loose plot that the artist paces, with dialog added by the writer later)? What do you think are the strengths and weaknesses of each?
(2) After years of work, some artists tend to skip some of the steps in the creative process, i.e. thumbnailing pages. What type of work flow do you follow when drawing pages? For example, do you dive right into layouts? Are your pages primarily breakdowns? Etc.
(3) When you sit down at the drawing table at the beginning of the day, how much time do you spend "loosening up" with sketches, if at all? Do you find that this benefits your art overall, and is the loss of "work time" worthwhile in the long run?
(4) How much time do you spend on each page, on average, and how much time do you dedicate to drawing each week?

And one other ... Not to put you on the spot, but what do you think about Marvel ending their open submissions policy for artists?

Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions, and apologies if this bores anyone!

Hi Todd,

What we all really want to know is ... how big is that royalty cheque from the Obama issue going to be?

And what will you spend it on?

Keep up the great work.

In many cases they don't even read the comic."

"I've been reading and enjoying AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ever since the beginning of the Brand New Day storyline. It's great to see Spider-Man really acting like Spider-Man again."

Hi Todd,

1)I'm a young aspiring colorist. Do you have any advice on breaking into the business?

2)Also how did you get started drawing comic books?

Todd: Do you enjoy drawing action pack/weird stories like the Mysterio story line over in Friendly Neighborhood or like you did during the your days in Young Justice. Or do you enjoy the more character driven stories like you recently did in Amazing Spider-man Family?

By the way, your Mysterios ruled, hence my avatar.

Just like to say thanks for doing this and if Obama is re-elected in 2012 I think you deserve a lot of credit.

Two questions.

1]Any creepy or funny stories about commissions from fans? For example, did anyone ever ask to have his head drawn on Peter's body, minus the spider-suit, or Gwen and MJ in bed or something?

2]Could you draw my head on Peter's body minus the spider-suit?

Thanks for doing the cast.

1. What is your favorite comic cover?

2. Which character would you like to draw that you haven't yet?

Thanks.
