Batman: Arkham Asylum

I just reas about this new game coming out sometime in 2009 taking place in Arkham Asylum. It seems like it will be a pretty cool came as you have to use Batman's logic not just his brawn. For example when he is fighting 6 men with machine guns. The graphics look really good to and the characters are being remodeled i think by Jim Lee. Ps: Oracle also makes an appearance in this game

That would be cool! The team making the game didn't make a comment about multiplayer but Gameinformer will most likely intervew them again before the game comes out. They said though you might be able to play as villains in the game after you unlock them but they don't if the team will put them in the game offically yet

where you that from? I dont think they will cancel this game especially since this game is going to come out sometime in 2009. They still have a year and half to get this game out by the end of the year 2009.

I played Lego: Indian Jones

I'm a strong supporter of good beatemups... like the Dynasty warriors franchise, and yet I STRONGLY disagree with your opinion here.

Hey, I liked LEGO Star Wars
Haven't yet played the Indiana Jones game though

But I've played Batman games in the past (eg Batman: Dark Tomorrow)
And they sucked out loud

So I'm just saying that LEGO Batman might be better than this new Batman game coming out

Downloaded and PLAYED a demo of Lego: Indiana Jones... they complain about the lack of depth in Dynasty Warriors, yet that game made it look deep in comparison.

I never said it was the deepest of games
But Lego Star Wars II is an extremly fun game and I expect the same level of quality to be in Lego Batman
And I enjoy games like Dynasty Warriors and Spartan: Total Warrior too
A game doesnt have to be deep to be fun to play yno

A Batman game set in Arkham Asylum could be very cool. Especially if you have to play a detective in compliment to a bad motorscooter. I've always love any of the Bat comics that take place in Arkham. The Batman Begins video game was alright. Not great, but with Batman's video game track record, it was pretty good. And I'm typically not a fan of franchise video games that tie into a movie.

This game should be awesome its the first nextgen Batman game using the friggin UNREAL 3 engine which powers most of he graphical heavy hitters. If they get the comabt and detective elements right it should be awesome lets hope they stay away from making it BAT THEFT AUTO that sort of sandbox game doesnt suit old batsy
