Man, I NEVER get pissed about objectification and other feminist BS...but the measurements on that statue of MJ pisses me right off.

I hated that statue the minute I saw it, too. I'm just sick of that kind of thing being thrown at me in the comic book world like I'm some stereotype male because I read them. I have no problem with sexy people in comics, I'm all for it. But stuff like that is ridiculous and it embarasses me to be a comic book fan when I see it.

People it's just a statue! I thought it was awesome. The bodies have always been exagerated. Not all guys have a six pack and can climb walls.

I'm not just being a bitch, I have pointy-boobed Spider-girl busts that I enjoy just as much as the next fan.
This thing is just ridiculous even within context!

It's like putting a tennis ball-sized bulge on a 15" action figure for crap sakes!

I think the pose (who washes clothes with their butt wiggling in the air?) and the G-string are a little bit objectifying. The proportions are so skewed and streatched even more for the banner I'm surprised she doesn't fall over. If you want to go all out with the feminist outrage you might consider the message of the domesticated wife doing her duty to wash he MAN's clothes.
