Where in the World is Spider-Man Classics?

Postby MrHipsterSpidey » Mon Jul 02, 2012 10:54 am

Amazing Spider-Man Classics was awesome, I think we all can agree (Everyone in the ASM Classics thread that is...), so what happened to it? It's been MIA since last September. The show had a few break periods, but none as big as this. Is the show on permanent hiatus? A show with the mission to cover every appearance of Spider-Man that only makes it to issue 48 painfully misses it's goal. If anyone knows why is has been gone for so long, please reply

It's over. Don & Josh have severed ties with Jon.

The brief and honest truth is that it fell apart. It had a great run which was some of the most fun I've ever had podcasting. There are still a few unreleased episodes but I'm not sure if they'll be put out.

Thanks for being a fan and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope you can get that enjoyment from some other great podcasts.

There are about 4 if not 5 episodes that were recorded that have not been released yet. Ask Jon about them.

We need to do everything in our power, up to and including, holding all he holds dear in the Negative Zone to get those episodes! [smilie=spidey_not_kidding.gif]

A damned shame the podcast has ended. Looks as though it was over before I ever heard of it.

You fellows had something really worthwhile going. I have been listening as I drive around eastern Oklahoma, celebrating masses in Spanish, and having a great time listening to you all cover Spidey from the beginning.

I wish you could have stayed with it. Sad to hear your frienship has come to an end. It SOUNDED as though you were having a great time.

I will miss the cast. I'm sure I'll find other stuff to listen to; it's not like there is nothing else out there. But your cast was probably the most enjoyable one I have come across.

See, this is a marvelous example of what I meant in my intro post: I only heard about this podcast a month or so ago. I went to iTunes, downloaded it, started listening, and was really enjoying it... until I noticed there weren't any new episodes. Then I found this thread. *cries*
Oh, well.
Seriously, Messrs. Don & Bertone, this is/was a great podcast and the news of its demise saddens me no end. Thanks for sticking it out as long as you did.
