She's in remission.
And tonight we went out and ate Thai...which she loves and knows full well I loathe, detest and abominate with a passion I normally reserve for OMD or the New York Yankees (take your pick), but for her I went gladly and ate it with (reasonably) good graces anyway. My baby sister ate like a stormtrooper and watched with what I can only term fiendish delight as I tried to eat the stuff, enjoying every single second of my gastronomic discomfort (which in itself made my night-her barbed sense of humor is very much intact).![]()

You guys shared my denial and shock and grief and gloom, so I wanted to share the good stuff , too. Next time we eat out, she wants to see a japanese "showman chef" (you know, with the flashy knife-work and all that).
Remember today, fellow Deltas. Today, life is good.
Just wanted to share with you.
i'm glad to hear her treatment is working and you are seeing the effect by sharing food you hate/she loves.
