I'm not sure "Does it contradict a Marvel interview quote from years and years ago?" is the most constructive first question to ask of a new project. "Do I like the premise?" and/or "Do I like the creators?" seem better.

This. I'd rather judge the story by it's own merit rather than pull up quotes from half a decade ago to make myself sound cynical and "clever."

Could be interesting. Do we know which universe they will be in? I wonder how they will get there...
A press release said that Peter is thrust into the Ultimate Universe. I'm glad it's that way, I'm interested to see him react to Ultimate Peter's death.
