I haven't finalized my order for the month yet (since you can't go back and edit them anymore), but I did finally read the first 3 issues of all my DCnU books and have to say, I made some cuts for this round of issue 7s (and pretty much all new story arcs). Batgirl, Catwoman, and Green Lantern all found themselves on the chopping block. That's a full half of what I was pulling from the new DC, leaving me with only 3 titles out of 52 (those being Nightwing, Red Hood, and Green Lantern: New Guardians).

I'm surprised you're staying with Red Hood. I think its pretty awful.

I'm not saying it's brilliant literature. I'm not saying the characterization of Starfire isn't abominable. I'm just saying I find it to be a fun book and Scott Lobdell might be the first person after Judd Winnick to write Red Hood in a way I like and find in keeping with the character.

I cocnur that the only saving grace in Red Outlaws is Jason's charactrization.

I'm dropping everything from DC except Action Comics, Superman, Batman, Batman and Robin and Batwoman. Everything else is either not good enough to justify the relaunch and money or a waste of my time.

Batgirl been DROPPED. That book never became entertaining. I'm a Daredevil completionist, hence the .1 issue...and at least it has a cool cover. I wanted to stay under $40 this month so Catwoman and Nightwing are getting the month off.

Why'd you order this out of curiosity? It's horrible! LOL Mike Carey's run on X-Men is one of my least favorite in the history of the X-books.

Honestly, I got interested in the run awhile ago and started buying all the trades. I've kept up with buying them...but I haven't actually read one yet :/
