Well, this is interesting--
In case y'all forgot--it has been a while--this Wednesday they're releasing a one-shot called Batman Incorporated: Leviathan Strikes!, which was originally Batman Incorporated #9 and #10. When it was resolicited as a one-shot, it mentioned that #9, which was originally Bruce and Steph!Batgirl cracking down a school for assassins in Britian, was now Batman and Spoiler.
But, the preview for the one-shot came out today on DCU's blog, The Source (which looks REALLY fun, BTW), says, "See the last hurrah of Stephanie Brown as Batgirl, in a sinister school for suicide spy girls!"
When asked about this over on CBR, one of the artists of the one-shot and current artist of Incorporated's "second season," Leviathan," said "There was a week in the middle of production when we thought we were going to massage the story into the new 52 continuity. Saner heads prevailed!"
So this does bring up a lot of questions--does this mean that Steph was Batgirl for a period of time? Where is she now? But...like it said, we do get one more adventure of Steph's Batgirl, so...right now I'm going with a "glass half-full" mentality.
