Helluva game, had it since the Midnight release and I'm still trying to finish all the side things you can do in the campaign.

I just downloaded The Walking Dead episodic video game from Playstation Network. Just finished chapter 1. I'm hooked. Surprised at how emotionally invested I am with lead character Lee and little sidekick Clementine. I already know I will do whatever I can to keep her safe. She is just great and an adorable little girl. I like the fact that I have to make genuinely tough decisions and there are real ramifications of my choices. As a gamer I feel I have some control over how the story/character interactions play out. As opposed to the plot on rails virtually every story based game is. It's $14.99 or $10.49 for PSN Members. Well worth it.

Echo thoughts on The Walking Dead. Very good game.

And yeah, Survival Instinct looks shoddy. It's one of those I'd like to play but will wait until it's very cheap. The voice acting sounds good though, with Reedus and Rooker voicing their respective characters. However, in 2013 and less than a year away from the PS4, a game should not have PS2 style looking graphics. Total rush job, maybe with a few more months or a year in development this could have been fixed. It's not like the popularity of the TV show is going to die down any time soon.

I was surprised when I posted that this was a dormant thread for over a year. Especially with the quality of games in '12. I'll post more here I'm sure, as I do like my video games. Gotta warn that I probably will say more about a game than just list it. If Kevin Cushing remembers me from previous comic book message boards, he'll probably agree that I have to tendency to expound.

I did look at some of the reviews of Survival Instincts. Not favorable to say the least. Too bad I would've liked to play as Daryl. Still wishing someone would make a quality Boondock Saints game. That could be a kick-ass shooter.
