Yellow Impurity: Formerly, the rings were unable to directly affect yellow. Now, a wearer can bypass this if they can 'accept fear', which is personified by the color yellow. Rookie lanterns are more susceptible to fear and thus vulnerable to the color yellow.

Kyle and Hal ended up on Oa, where Parallax attempted to absorb even more energy from the planet itself. Kyle was forced to detonate the planet to stop Hal's madness
"Whether Aunt May dies or not isn't the question. If she dies, does it mean anything beyond a brief sales spike because collectors/speculators think they'll be able to make a profit selling the book later? That is the question. Back when, Stan and company won our hearts and minds. I cared about Spider-Man and the other Marvel characters as though they were friends. I cared every time Aunt May got sick. That's what good creative work does."

I don't know if Magneto's powers work like they do in Marvel vs. Capcom (Magnetic blasts), but Green Lantern can certainly block those and whatever junk Mags throws at him, like swords, buckets, and whole even pirate ships. Lucky for me, the ring has a 24-hour battery period before recharging (unlike my cell phone battery) so I think Kyle will be fine in this battle.

Not sure how much iron Kyle has in his blood but his ring shouldn't protect him from Magneto trying to reach in and control it.
And damn you for having the yellow weakness removed... with all the monkeys around I was sure Magneto was going to be able to just throw a bunch of bananas at him.
