"It is I, Bruce Lee, the deadliest man to have ever walked the Earth with the possible exception of John Wayne or George Berryman. The Gong of Conflict has once again been pounded upon - it is time to FIGHT!"

Image

"This week, hot off his historic loss to FSUSpiderFan, tnr105 seized the moment and challenged George Berryman, hoping to find him lazy and drunk after his win over BD. George accepted and chose, as his champion, the Merc with a Mouth - DEADPOOL!"

Image

"In response, tnr105 chose the daughter of one of DC's deadliest assassins... RAVAGER!"

Image

"With the combatants chosen, George Berryman informs me that he has selected Porky's in Angel Beach, Florida as tonight's fight venue."

Image

"We're stepping back in time to 1954 and into the early 80's screwball comedy Porky's for tonight's fight - specifically to the nightclub dive owned by the film's title character. Porky's joint is a gambling den, a bar, a strip club, a brothel... all vice & sin under one roof in the Florida Everglades. The protagonists of the film venture out to Porky's for a "night to remember" and wind up making a very dangerous enemy.

"It's an All WIlson fight as boy meets girl in Angel Beach! Those are your choices! Who wins? Who loses? You decide. Vote NOW! Take us away, Elvis Presley!"

I shall wait for my esteemed opponent to make his case before I present my side. This time I actually have a chance, and I don't want to muck it up

They are both psycho killing machines with lots of weapons. Deadpool would seem to have the advantage with his healing but I'm not that familiar with Ravager. I look forward to hearing some arguments from both sides.

Deadpool's got a healing factor. Ravage doesn't. He can recover, literally, from having limbs severed and do it fast. Ravage can't.

He's got guns & grenades. Ravage has swords that can briefly make a shield.

She's got limited precog powers that allow her to sometimes foresee her opponents next move. His style's so batshit crazy the Taskmaster couldn't mimic it.

Her agility is enhanced. His is superhuman. They're both martial artists... except he's at a higher agility and stamina.

Slade Wilson would have been the better chance here. Daddy's little girl has nothing on Deadpool.

Okay, let's see...

-Ravager has gone against Cassandra Cain, one of the most deadly people in the DCU.
-Rose has beat Bart Allen, one of the fastest people in the DCU
-Rose knows how to take care of herself. She has had to rely on herself many times, and was even competent enough to be Lian Harper's nanny.
-Taskmaster couldn't best Deadpool because Deadpool is unpredictable. Rose may be able to actually know what Deadpool will do before he does, as usually makes it up as he goes along.
-According to DC's Secret Files, In one instance, was able to have an extensive precognitive vision where she saw her father's (Deathstroke's) future. During this jaunt, Rose was able to project her astral form and inhabit the body of someone in the future (similar to her brother Jericho's ability). Deadpools mind is always racing, but if she could get into his head, he would loose a one hell of an advantage.

This looks like a long, intense battle, between two very well matched opponents. Both characters will be pushed to their limits, and then some.
Unfortunately, that's when the battle is decided.

Deadpool acts so unpredictably that Ravager will need to use her adrenaline to try to predict what he'll do next...which WILL negate his teleportation and hologram projections, and also help her fight him, but it will ALSO begin to sap her health. Meanwhile, Deadpool's powers are already beginning to heal his wounds.

Sorry, Tnr. I admittedly don't know much about Ravager, so a good argument or example of her abilities could help me change my mind...But for now, I've gotta go with Deadpool.

"Whether Aunt May dies or not isn't the question. If she dies, does it mean anything beyond a brief sales spike because collectors/speculators think they'll be able to make a profit selling the book later? That is the question. Back when, Stan and company won our hearts and minds. I cared about Spider-Man and the other Marvel characters as though they were friends. I cared every time Aunt May got sick. That's what good creative work does."

That's not going to happen. Deadpool's brain cells are continuously regenerating, blocking out telepathy.

Rose Wilson's Advantages:
-She is prone to psychotic rages. Seriously, she gouged one of her eyes out to be more like her father. If Wade even opens his mouth, she could go insane.
-Her energy swords can cut through anything, except flesh.
-Rose could try to use tranquilizers to get Wade dizzy but it would have to be in massive doses and it wouldn't even last long.

Wade Wilson's Advantages:
-His healing factor is so powerful, he would still be alive 800 years in the future.
-Even if DP can't use his swords, he is an expert in every other weapon.
-He can pull random items out of a magic satchel. Who knows what he can get there?

I'm voting for Wade.

i don't really think she'd take any of his shit, she can be pretty emo.

Let's see...

-She has gone up against some of the DCU's top martial artists.
-She's probably stronger than him because she gets stronger with adrenaline, and much faster due to her spidey-sense like pre-cog on top of superhuman reflexes.
-If her pre-cog allows her to do something few can do;predict Deadpool, then she he wouldn't be able to really to take her by surprise
-Wade's teleportation would be limited here, and though he does have a healing factor, it makes him cocky. I think he would underestimate Rose, and like BD said, there would be much witty banter.
-She practically brought down Clock King's Terror Titans single handed.
-She obviously can't mortally wound Deadpool, so her best would to be to go along with any of his advances, and then when she gets close enough, KO him.

This is the issue I was thinking of when she went up against Cassandra Cain, I know we have a lot of Cass fans here, and you all know how skilled Rose would be to take her on. I'm not saying it would be easy, but Wade wouldn't really take this fight seriously (Does he ever?) and end up underestimating Ravager.

Actually, Rose only cut her eye out because Slade dosed her with the same super-soldier serum he took. Being younger, she wasn't able to handle it, went cuckoo for Coco Puffs, and...bye-bye eye.

That being said, Wade does have the advantage in durability, a bigger arsenal, and he's completely unpredictable. I love Rose, honest I do, but Deadpool takes the cake.

Sounds to me like the healing factor would be the deciding factor. I also admitedly know very little about Ravager so its a biased opinion but seems sound based on the evidence i've seen so far.

For those who don't know Ravager, she's a pretty badass character, and even when the writers mishandle her, it still develops her character. I'm actually surprised BD didn't know who she was, as Titans used to sometimes cross over with Peter David's Young Justice.
Image

If you're voting for Deadpool just because you don't know Ravager skim her backstory here, she actually could put up a fight here. http://www.titanstower.com/source/whoswho/rose.html

I really think Rose would actually win not by her crazy skills, but her sexuality. She's deadly, sexy, and can wrap you around her finger. Before she and Kid Devil formed their real bond on the titans, she had no problems using her..."feminine wiles" to get him to help her on her quest.
Image

I knew going in I'd have a hard time against George, and I actually was going to choose Snake-Eyes, but chose Ravager for 3 reasons:

1. Snake-Eyes kinda falls under the Jesus/Batman/Chuck Norris category 8)
2. It would be kinda mean to pull a FSUSpiderfan, and use George's fanboyness against him, to the point where he would vote him
3. I wasn't sure if there was a Deadpool/Snake-Eyes fight last seaon, and (I thought) this would be a more even battle.

Even if I lose, it's no big deal on my end. I joined fight club for the fun debates, and hopefully I can take my losses and learn something. One such thing I learned is not to hesitate, and you need to be ruthless!
