So basically people are saying she has a power to beat anyone. I guess I should just use her every fight and always win...

Fuck me. I guess so. Fight Clubbers voted for Galactus over Superman. I guess we put the wrong character up against him.

I guess God will have to be put back on the table to beat Squirrel-girl.

A common misconception, but this was actually debunked by Comic Book Legends Revealed. It's the second one down in this article:

A-ha! At least 8 people in this thread have some sense! Within striking distance of squishing the rodent that dares make a mockery of Fight Club! C'mon people. This is Brawlapalooza. Doomsday beat Superman like he was a red-headed stepchild. Stop the Squirrel!

When one beats another "like a red-headed stepchild" it's meant to be both mighty and one-sided. Lest we forget Doomsday and Superman both dropped at the end of their fight.

Hey man, I warned Thrawn that he shouldn't accept her. I've even said she should be off the table for fight club. But she's here, so I've got no choice but to vote for her.

Karnak would beat her.

Seriously though, "never gets defeated" isn't actually in her wiki power list and that's typically what we go by.

What is hard to overcome here is the sheer number of powerhouses she's bested.

Two things here George, first is sounded funny so I typed it. Second, Doomsday dished out much more punishment than Superman in that fight. In fact, he ended up getting stopped rather easily compared to the amount of damage he dealt to Superman. I weighed the pros and cons, and I ran with it. Doomsday should not have been stopped in that fight.

Karnak would beat her.

Not according to Kevin's logic.

I wasn't aware some voters would have a hard time separating dues ex machina jokes pertaining to a character from the realities of Fight Club. Do you really think that she defeated Galactus, Thanos, and Terrax? Off panel jokes and bad writing aside? Spider-Man once defeated Venom with a newspaper he set on fire. Could Spider-Man actually do that? No, Venom's too deadly and dangerous. That was an example of horrible writing by Howard Mackie and not to be taken seriously. Same here. I mean she beat Doctor Doom with Squirrels. First of all, we all know Doom's armor would allow him to shock or incinerate the squirrels. It was a joke and out of character for Doom. Remind me why we need the Fantastic Four when we have Squirrel Girl again?

Did she defeat Thanos, Terrax, or Galactus with brute force?

Her powers are listed on the trading card George provided:

Squirrel Girl is a mutant with several traits that are similar to or usually associated with squirrels. Squirrel Girl possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, and reflexes.

* Leaping: Squirrel Girl can leap several stories.
* Climbing: Squirrel Girl has small claws on each finger and toe to enhance her griping and climbing abilities.
* Knuckle Spike: Squirrel Girl has a a retractable knuckle spike capable of carving through solid wood.
* Prehensile Tail: Squirrel Girl has a bushy, 3 foot long semi-prehensile tail that she can use to cover opponents’ eyes or wrap around herself for warmth.
* Communicate with Squirrels: Squirrel Girl can perfectly mimic squirrel sounds, as well as actually communicate with and direct the actions of squirrels. She often uses a number of squirrels to distract or even assault others, chewing through circuitry and other materials. She shares a close, possibly empathic, bond with certain squirrels, such as Monkey Joe and Tippy-Toe.

I see nothing on here to indicate she's powerful enough to survive more than a minute against Doomsday or defeat Thanos, fan wankery aside. She would damage herself if she even tried to hit him, which since this is Brawlapalooza, she has to.

Ruh Roh Shaggy.

That page had Squirrel Girl saying she and Tippy Toe, her squirrel, defeated Thanos. That... would imply she did not do it herself. And as we have already established she cannot have her squirrel army in with her.

Hmm...

True but I highly doubt that Tippy really did anything in the fight considering the fact that it's a a normal squirrel. Squirrel girl could have just included Tippy seeing it's always with her. Notice how the Watcher doesn't even mention Tippy.

That blew my mind. Ima still say Ditko deserves a co-creator credit

In that case, maybe it's actually TIPPY TOE, or the rest of the squirrels, who have the actual power, and could defeat Doomsday...
In which case, it's simple math:

"Whether Aunt May dies or not isn't the question. If she dies, does it mean anything beyond a brief sales spike because collectors/speculators think they'll be able to make a profit selling the book later? That is the question. Back when, Stan and company won our hearts and minds. I cared about Spider-Man and the other Marvel characters as though they were friends. I cared every time Aunt May got sick. That's what good creative work does."
