Yeah, I think Thor will definitely fight the Destroyer in the movie. In the trailer they showed at Comic Con the Destroyer was fighting some SHIELD agents.

Ah, good news. Wonder if they will stay true to the comics and the armor needs the spirit of someone to power it. Wonder who that will be. Loki?

I don't know if it's really going to be in the Thor movie. I kind of hope not. Thor has plenty of stuff to draw from the Thor comics and can stand on its own without the Gauntlet. I'm also hoping the Avengers franchise stuff will be kept to a minimum in this movie(except for the SHIELD connection which I'm fine with).

I agree. I'd rather it were not in the Thor movie as there is plenty to draw from the Thor books to fill a movie and a long line of sequels. The Gauntlet seems to be more of an Avengers storyline than Thor. I'd like to see no mention of the Avengers until the very end of the movie and then have either Fury or Stark approach Thor to recruit him.

Maybe the gauntlet will just be an easter egg shown in Odin's treasure room or something. Not sure why Marvel would already release a picture of it though...

The more I see of this movie through stills and trailers the more excited I am getting. This has the very real potential of being the best Marvel movie yet.

I think Don Blake will be his civilian idenity while he lives here. I doubt he's going to tell everyone "my name is Thor."

Tom Hiddleston looks like a good coice for Loki. Destroyer looks pretty awesome, I love that reference to Tony Stark at the end.

All the scenes look pretty good, individually. I hope they put together a theatrical trailer that runs together more smoothly and doesn't have as many spoilers, though.

The trailer was awesome. This movie is going to be the best super hero movie of all(at least for me, and only until Thor 2 comes out ).

Yeah, it's too bad that most trailers show too much these days. I love seeing them, but I would love them just as much if they didn't show big plot points, long dialogue sequences(like with Agent Coulson and Odin in this trailer), and funny scenes(like the scene at the end of this trailer with Coulson and the Destroyer). I know it's my own fault for watching all the teasers and trailers I can for stuff, but it does lessen your enjoyment in the theater somewhat if you have seen some of the scenes a ton of times already. Thankfully it's not as bad with action movies as it is with comedies where a lot of the time they show some of their best jokes in the trailer. I'm confident that the Thor movie is going to have plenty of awesome and funny scenes(how can it not with Volstagg in it) not shown in this trailer.
