Guys, FYI, OMIT has had another schedule change, which means we have, too. Spider-Man: Crawl Space #11 will now be coming at you on August 18th instead of the originally solicited August 11th. Sorry! Here's the story on the front page:

And so begins the Joe Quesada delays. Dang blastit! I knew this was going to happen. I don't give two halves of a buttshit when OMIT comes out, but it's getting in the way of me reading my Crawl Space!

Seriously Kevin, look at it this way: for once, a Crawl Space delay isn't your fault. Now let's just do what we always do at times like this and blame Quesada.

I prefer to blame Canada.

Wow, Chris, the Quesada/Canada rhyme just hit me. I'm actually kind of surprised that in almost three years none of us have thought to write a parody song along those lines.

Well, at least this will give you some breathing room to perfect your stories Kev.

This seems very familiar to what happened with OMD and Civil War. Quesada has a bad track record of letting things get delayed, especially on these big events. He should have been planning this for three years. Why didn't they have this all in the can and ready to ship months ago? Hell, why didn't this story come out a year and a half ago? You really don't want a shit storm like this to drag on for six months. It's like peeling off a band aid, best to do it quick. Looks like their three times a month plan went down the crapper. Say what you want about BND but Wacker has run a pretty tight ship with the shipping schedule, which is impressive. I guess when the boss man is writing and doing some of the art it's hard to crack the whip on him. Gotta feel for Wacker. It's like watching a nearly perfecting game being ruined by the owner of the team coming in during the fourth quarter thinking he should be calling the plays.

Yet another reason to dislike OMIT-SHIT, they are making me wait longer for my real Spidey, Crawl Space!

To be fair to Quesada and co., though, as of now we're still set to get three issues in August (and we got three in July), so the one week delays really can't be compared to the OMD delays. Now, if part 4 slips a week, that'll make it only 2 issues in August, and that'll look a little worse for 'em. But it's still two issues in one month, and then we'd most likely get four the next month, so it's not like they aren't still giving us extremely regular doses.

Ok. I guess your right. I didn't really do the math on that. I just saw two delays and assumed it would be worse than that. Although, I would not be surprised if there were more.

Speaking for myself, I don't give a rat's ass if Amazing gets delayed, it's the lack of Crawl Space that troubles me!

According to Marvel.com, OMIT has slipped its final deadline, with ASM #641 (OMIT Part 4) being bumped a week from its originally scheduled release date of August 25th to September 1st. So, once again, that pushes Crawl Space as well. Spider-Man: Crawl Space #12 will now be released on September 1st. I'll post this on the front page when I get home (my work internet is too finicky and I don't have any images on the harddrive here to post, nor can I access photobucket).

Also, just as an FYI for anyone that cares about ASM scheduling that has nothing to do with Crawl Space, this also pushes ASM #642 (Origin of the Species part 1) to September 8th, since I guess Marvel didn't want the end of OMIT and the beginning of Origin of the Species to drop on the same day. But again, that has no bearing on Crawl Space, since we're only matching the releases of OMIT.

Guys, I'm very sorry, and I hate to deliver this news but, according to marvel.com, OMIT Part 4 has been pushed another week to September 8th, which means Crawl Space #12 will now be dropping on September 8th as well. Don't worry, #11 is safe and coming out in just over 24 hours. But it looks like it will now be three weeks before #12. Again, very sorry. I'm just trying to match their schedule here.
