BD's weekend project *pics included*

Postby BD » Sat Jul 19, 2008 10:36 pm

Gang,
It seems I put away my books about once or twice a year, and I'm now at a point where I can. I finally have 55 drawer boxes built, with 5 more to go. And I have like 200 books I need to put away.

I have post its on my collection, but my goal is to print the title on a sheet of paper and post it on the box. I've done three for my Amazing Spider-Man boxes.
What do you think?

Thats pretty cool I just bought three of those boxes last week but I didn't have to build them like you did since they were already built when I bought them. :D [smilie=spidey_clap.gif]

I also meant that I had to put "boxlox" in them on the bottom row and the top row. It's basically a plastic clip that holds them together and so they don't move and don't tip.

I think your title papers look great.
Those drawer boxes look good on mass like that. [smilie=spidey_rolling.gif]

I just found the original printing amazing spider-man issue 200 issue and got it for a buck at my comic book store and it still in pretty good condition. I found other older spider-man issues like Spidey 2099, 30th anninversary, 350 issue and others but I really wanted his and only had a little money left after buying some heroclix so I bought the issue 200 and i cant wait to read it.

ps: it also came out the month i was born so other reason i bought it

how do you sort your comics. Alphabetically by title. I put them into family genres i.e. x-men family, spider-man family, avengers famly, marvel family and then alphabatize them. Do you have a inventory sheet or something that lists all of the comics that you own. i have been meaning to type one up for myself but i just cant find the time. that is what winter is for i guess.

Wow. This makes me want to organize my collection now, which should probably take about 1/10 of the time if I go slow.

Why is Iron Man in the same box as X-Men? I mean mines like that, but thats because I only have 2 longboxes. 1 thats all Spider-Man, and another that's everything else.
