Since I've never bought one...or looked for one...how big is an omnibus compared to a trade?

Yeah, but I just wonder how many. The Clone Saga trade has a bit over 12...so does an omibus push things to around 20?

It varies, but they reprinted the entire 70 issue run of Tomb of Dracula plus extra issues in just two Omnibuses. They tend to run from 800-1000 pages. Some are smaller, but once they go down to around 500 pages the price tends to decrease to $75. Since the JMS Thor Omnibus is only about 16 issues, it's actually only $65. Plus the Omnibuses are actually taller and wider, so you get much closer to the original art size. If I sat my Wolverine Omnibus gently atop a small child, it'd crush it to death.

Thanks for that info Kevin. Now I have a good idea on how big they are...and what weapon to use if I ever wish to crush a child
