Yeah, I hear ya. i_p...Glad to hear it. HOPEFULLY the classic red and blue Spider-Man suit is one of the unlockable suits.
Still just a rental at this point, but if it's good enough (other than the crappy costume), I might buy it when the price drops.

F-bombs from me buddie, this was one of the improvements SM3 introduced in a Spidey game and I wanted to stay, I looked forward to it even before USM game

I really want this game to be a success. I loved Spider-Man 2 I played it a lot as a kid. If this can recapture the magic that made that game great, then it gives me hope for future Spider-Man games. Nevertheless, I won't touch this game before the reviews.

Bit conflicted. On one hand, Web Rush, variety on missions like Spider-Man 3,combat and the graphics look great, but on the other hand, I'm not really digging the villains they chose, and web swinging from the sky is dumb and looks really slow. Anyways, I'll always have Ultimate Spider-Man and SM3 if this doesn't really do it for me, and at least I'll have the joys of the Stan Lee bonus mission.

@Wombat: I want to be excited, I see thing to really like in this game, but after a few years of being optimist and end up disappointed, I'd rather reserve judgment

I guess reviews will be coming soonish, within the coming weeks. I've pre-ordered the game but it's not released in the UK until the 29th but I'll be sure to give my verdict then. It's easy to see that they've taken inspiration/ ripped off the camera angle and combat system from Batman: Arkham City but if it works for one critically acclaimed game then they're obviously going to want to try it for another.
