Ok, so the movie trailer expresses Ultimate Spider-Man influence

Do you guys suppose this new game will be as highly influenced by USM? Or have some elements taken from that universe?

I hope the combat takes a few things from the USM game, like wall-bouncing.

I hope they don't reuse any of the same combat animations from Shattered Dimensions or EOT.
I hope BEENOX took note of how he moves in the film and the game reflects that.

The scene where Peter is fighting the swat team without his mask looked excellent. I wish they kept that as a surprise in the film.

In Spider-man 2-3 The Game I felt like I had all of the abilities of the Raimi Spider-man.

I meant the comics, not the games
Only thing from that game they should use here is wall bounce attacks, nothing more. Combat in that game is very basic, same goes for most of the gameplay, somehow it managed to be one of the five good Spider-Man games

I like the use of "Crawler's Assault" in EoT, but they said fresh combat, hope they stand to it

They must, or they lose more points from me

Agreed, wanted them to show him fighting the car thief instead

I adore those games, even with that I have to say "not really", games didn't allow flipping on people the way he did in the first movie

I may get angry views for that, but after thorough thought I refuse to have what many demand to have in this game, even if 99% disagree with me, I'm sticking to my opinion cause that's my view:

I don't want the combat style from Batman Arkham games to be used (a.k.a; freeflow combat). After going through the combat systems so many times, I kinda like it for Batman and Captain America, but don't want it for anyone else, cause:
Strategic combat? Nope, turning my thumb sore from the repetitive tapping and pressing of the same button constantly
Every move makes a difference? Hell no, they all have the same effect on enemies, and I played on both PC and PS3, look visually beautiful, but no matter what kind of moves I use, it's the same amount of attacks used on each thug

Over-glorified bland button taping and analog dancing

Well, at least we know No.6 will make his first appearance in what hopefully is a good game (Maximum Carnage is decent as an SNES game in that age, doesn't live well like Sonic and Mario). And they answered me about the biological attacks

I hope that business man is not Osborn, I don't his design to change if someone else plays him in the movies

That trailer has some irritating music and I think it's quite clear that Spidey's swinging...from the sky. Decent action, though.

Rather surprised to see Rhino in this, but I like that he's created by what made Dr. Connors into the Lizard.

I doubt that the businessman is Norman. The article does say he's an executive, but he has superiors. Since I've only just heard of Stegron, maybe it's him?

The fight mechanics look amazing. So does his agility. Definetly looking forward to this game now.
