Nah--he would just be mad that Cap didn't give him a chance to use his unmanned drones to carpet bomb the area and the four square blocks surrounding it to get him.
Onto the episode:
As for Dying Wish theories--my first thought was Aunt May.
Also, I think Slott said that "Danger Zone" has something to do with Phil Urich/Hobgoblin and what he referred to before as "Hobgoblin Inc."
Amazing Spider-Man trailer--loved it.

As for the focus on the parents thing...my feeling is that Peter doesn't have this so much in the comics because they were confirmed to be dead. My guess is that they just...disappeared, and the mystery of it--where they went, why they left, why they didn't take him with them, is something that would legitimately bother a person at the very least. Plus, Uncle Ben's death is something that is well known--the mystery aspect of Peter's parents is something new and different for the movies and it's a good idea to focus their marketing on that so people don't just think it's simply a point-by-point rehash of the origin.
"I hope that's Uncle Ben's funeral." I dunno, that seemed like too big a deal in the middle of the city with a whole bunch of people around for it to be Ben's. George Stacy is very possible.
[Chris: The spoiler below is a big one for the Amazing Spider-Man movie, so DO NOT read it unless you want to have a major point of speculation ruined]Not a huge fan of Dennis Leary, mostly for his joke thieving, but he is a solid actor, I'm sure he'll pull it off.
As for the cops thing...if you keep attention to the news, you'll find that police and political figures get away with fucked-up, horrific shit all the time.
I don't know if the Jarvis computer is around, but I do know Jarvis the butler is around in the Avengers books.
I kinda interpreted the yaught thing was that it was for "science." I.e., Max wanted a yacht, was rich enough to get one, and now that they need to be in international waters to help out Spider-Man, hey, they have a yacht for science!
I kinda like the idea of Spidey teaming with Sable and Widow, but after hearing it was originally going to be Felicia and Flash, I kinda wish it was that.
I'm with I believe it was CrazyChris on Peter's position in this book--sure, he's probably a little too overconfident, it'll probably bite him in the ass a bit, but I do like the idea of Peter being in this big leadership position, and it does feel very different from what we've seen before, and it could make for some interesting stories later on depending on how it goes.
On one hand, I can't argue with JR's reasoning about the UN...on the other, the Marvel Universe is a place where the people in power built sixty foot-tall robots to completely wipe out a segment of humanity. I've excepted at this point that pretty much everyone with political power in the 616 is clinically insane.
The app thing, if I remember right, was some sort of semi-hypnosis, where it presents something and it makes you think of it, and since Sandman uses his mind, his subconscious, his imagination to create his forms, when he's thinking of those things, part of him is creating them through his sand body.
Good episode.
